In just a few swings, you'll definitely be sloshy from Fat Jack's Slosher.
Had to upload it smaller because FA loves to destroy quality.

I dunno man. I usually get caught in two hits from that thing and I'm done.
Like I said though. it's mostly just in heavy lag environments. You might as well have gotten caught by one of those rain maker things in single player mode. lol
In normal non laggy situations you'd be fine.

From what I've seen slow for the slosher is 1 splash for second.
I'd have to play with it to really see what's up with that. but from what I've seen, they've been really messing people up. lol
The .Gal weapons are even slower, one of them only giving you one shot for with several seconds of warm up time. But that's literally because that one shot is a one hit kill. XD

Just got the slosher...just...yeah. This thing is WAYYYYY over powered.
Not only is it faster than the blasters. It's much more powerful in it's just-released, basic weapon form.
It's range is HUGE and you can actually spread to the left and right of you just by hitting the trigger while moving your camera.
AND, people thought the roller was overpowered before, you can actually jump over it, and you're only really screwed if you don't run around it.
If you get caught by a slosher splash, you're not going anywhere. Not only are you hit with the most powerful hit a weapon has so far, the entire area around your feet is going to be the other player's ink. You're a sitting duck for that second hit to take you out.
If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and tastes like a duck. Well, it must be a duck. The slosher is overpowered.

It's about the same fire rate as blasters however it lacks the disjointed hit boxes and doesn't have the one-hit KO that blasters have.
The range is pretty big but it only reaches as far as the regular Splattershot, and you can't spread the shot by moving left and right. The commitment with each swing is pretty large because of that. Rollers you can jump over, but that's only if they're rolling. Sloshers only require you the move to the side.
Have you ever used the Slosher before? Because you seem to have a lot of misconceptions about the weapon (And the game as a whole).

I bought the game day one and just told you that I've been playing with the slosher since this morning. lol
I was wrong about the speed, in fact it's faster than I thought with TWO swings per second instead of the 1 for 1 I originally thought.
You don't spread the shot by moving. You spread the shot by rotating your camera, literally as your character is making a swing. You can get a whole half circle if you go fast enough, but the entire shot will be stretched out and almost useless. This is WAY easier to discover with higher sensitivity OR by using the gyro controls.
Not only that, but as for the strength of the weapon, I had to have at four defense boosts to take more than usual two hits it takes to be taken out by that thing.
AND, let's not forget about how many shots you can actually get with one tank!
With the amount of ink you throw and knowing how to properly spread the shot, you can cover the splat zone are in the middle of the mall faster than any roller can!
Any other weapon, save the roller, would have run out of ink before then.

Huh, I never knew about the swing like that. Was trying earlier, seems pretty useless.
Defenses boosts are nigh useless, the only thing they do is make the Gals splat you in 3 hits instead of 2. Other than that, no matter how many Defense boosts you stack, you won't be easier or harder to splat.
It doesn't seem to drain less ink than most guns. Just look at the Splattershot itself. No weapon should be running out of a full tank of ink before covering the Splat Zone.

IIiii...actually had footage of that last part, but I apparently forgot to post it as well.
The splattershot doesn't even come close to reaching that balloon thing from the basic distance.
I was also showing that it had a higher firing rate than the blaster.
What you don't see here, is what I kind of mention in the description. How the real results are found in game. Those sideways sloshes are meant to spread as much ink around you as possible.
I also didnt show what happens when you shoot straight up in the air.
It's avoidable, but if you're hit by the shot, You get the maximum of number of shots on you and it's effectively a OHKO.
That's "number of shots" because each slosh from the slosher is actually about FIVE total hits in one.
That first big hit is the strongest, while there's four smaller shots trailing behind it. They do less damage, but still A LOT as getting hit by one of those gives you one extra hit to avoid, instead of two.
The thing about Splatoon is that EVERY weapon has it's little quirks, especially the weird ones.
Like the brushes. The NEW brush, is much stronger tha the original and swipes VERY slow, like as slow as everyone initially thought the FIRST brush was.
BUT, the thing about the first brush is that it's "swipe" shot actually has NO COOLDOWN and the speed of the attack is entirely dependent on how fast you can push the attack button.
OF COURSE. knowing these things actually makes it easier to counter the weapons as well.
With the slosher it. It should be really easy, BUT as of right now, the only true flaw with the weapon is the insane ink consumption and recovery speeds and the speed of the weapons firing rate.
It's just two fast for what it can do. Like I said before. The speed of the weapon, or the strength is going to be nerfed. XP
