...at last.
Well, while I actually didn't dislike it, my expectations were probably too high so I got a bit disapointed with it after all.
Partly because this 4th opus uses mostly the same plot gears than the 3rd (a big-bad all-powerful rare/exotic/hybrid dinosaur even nastier than the T-Rex causes havoc, the aforementioned big-bad actually fights the T-Rex, raptors are awfully smart and communication with humans is possible - which doesn't mean by any means they gonna be friends -, children are better at barely escaping dino threats than many adults, also pterosaur complications).
Also partly because I was barely convinced by the huge loopholes, inconsistencies of the plotline and limp tropes, such as seeing children managing to repair a car that got abandoned for 20 years in a tropical/saline island climate only by changing its battery (nice compys probably helped with the tires and other rusted/sticky parts), and a woman outrun a T-Rex in high heels!
For a more detailed list of these inconsistencies.
Most of all, the film lacked the tension and rythm it would have needed to turn really awesome despite its buggy plotline.
So, yeah, JWorld failed to be a lot of things.
Still, it is probably the most expensive pokemon match in history (go, team Blue-Rex!).
