Being an army that specializes in urban warfare, CM soon found out that, no, you cant drive your tanks and other vehicles through heavily damaged/barricaded streets. To counteract this, the Armor that is now known as Iebak was put into commission - the result is super heavy suit, almost impervious to any kind of damage. Several layers of thick plating, with several heat, chemical and shock ablative layers added in, plus thick cords dangling off the back of armor serving as an extra precaution to ground the shock, this suit is capable of surviving both a hazardous surroundings as well as sustained artillery fire. But this comes at the cost of the armor movement capability being as expected from a 1500lbs heavy hunk of metal - even with its strong power supply and exo skeleton in place, the wearer can only move with extremely slow pace, his melee abilities hardly able to hold against an direct attack - which usually ends with the suit toppled over, like a cow in a teenage prank (though the suits have mechanisms in place to get up again, so this isnt the best way to dispose of them for long). Their main purpose is to lay a suppressing fire with their plasma weaponry (one of the few cases where CM opted for energy weapons, considering both the inability to reload in such a heavy suit and to prolong the active time of the wearer) and shuffle forward menacingly while the main force outflanks the opponent. Sometimes, they will use other kind of weaponry, mostly suited for the task at hand. Unlike the most of armory, there are no dedicated squads using Iebak suit all the time, the armor being issued when the need arises, the great majority of the CM forces being trained in the use. Also, both due to its situational use and their task, these suits are never adorned or painted, since there is hardly any paint or trophy able to sustain what this suits are made to endure.
