Well if the spider was not enough to make him noticed, this certainly is... and to a collection of happy little brawlers like the Elfhame Rangers, this is the type of rough and tumble blue that they enjoy the most... and with a snob of a poncey white-tail as the looser it is even better.

And not just the Rangers. The cavalry unit had apparently been in the habit of winning these little set-pieces, probably by cheating. Can't believe that the rest of the rangers didn't hit anything, and they were not acknowledging the mock-hits. (Bad practice, too - they should have been taking the opportunity to learn how to redress their lines on the go as casualties were taken out.) This time they didn't, and were going to try to take it out on the infantry. Instead, their captain got his head handed to him, and then got busted.
