Guh, so so so sorry its a WIP again, I thought I'd have time to work on some art this weekend, but... well, long story short; I'm visiting with family that I haven't been able to talk with and catch up with for about 10 years now, so... catching up has been the majority of my time these past two days.
Nevertheless, the deadline is today, and this is.... complete-ish enough to get the idea that he's doing some research on the magic he wants to ultimately study; healing magic.
I'll finish this up, probably tomorrow, or tonight (depends on if I work tomorrow and what time). But for now~ Here's Dusk in his studies.
I've been working on this since the prompt released by the way, and it's just been.... so... much. But I'm happy with the progress and the learning experience~ first time actually putting effort into perspective and the like.
Will edit with more info and proper stuff when I upload the finished version~

Done! it's not..perfect as to what I was going for, but I am happy with the way it turned out nevertheless =3
So, this was mostly a study in lighting and hoping to get it right. Mostly looking at Rembrandt's Philosopher, since that's a feel I was going for in this picture.
Dusk is essentially studying what he's most interested in, which is healing magic. He is still too young and has a lot of studies to finish before he gets to that level, but, he is getting started at least.
