I'm quite fond of the new series, but there were episodes of the older one that I dug too, like the occaisional "multiple incarnations of the Doctor" episodes, as well as the Dalek's debut episodes.

I haven't been able to keep much track of the latest few seasons, but it is nice to see some old familiar foes return (like Davros and the Master). I also really dig the redesign given to the Cybermen, just makes them look more menacing/intimidating than before. Not to really knock the older designs, but the older designs just didn't look that threatening whatsoever, nor did they really impress me too much. Which is why I really like the current look to them, really adds alot to the overall design.

Torchwood's pretty nice too, but again I can't seem to catch it all that often, so I'm way behind.

I must admit I prefer the older series to the new, I find the new series with all the CGI to be too "perfect". Kinda there's still some life the phrase "the pictures are better on the radio" on that one. That is, the old series was done on a low budget but you could imagine the rest.

I wonder how the cybermen stay so shiny? Wonder if they have a lifetimes' supply of polish? ;)
