This handsome, dapper, 60s Mod inspired wardrobe wearing frog ma-yun is for my loveliest of friends BringBackTheDead! It is the third piece of art I have done as the Official Art Wizard! :D
It was such a pleasure to draw Lux in his new form. I hope to play with him some more!
ALSO NEW TECHNIQUE! I have been playing with the idea of colored lines! So all the linework on here is colored, except for the jacket which I kept black. :3 I think I like it! :D

I ended up duplicating the ink layer (so that I had an original) and then using the new ink layer to color the lines. I used the lasso tool to isolate the areas I wanted to change color (like just all the pinkish parts) and then I tweaked it with hue/saturation and the "replace color" tool in photoshop. I can totally make a tutorial sometime or show ya on screen share! :D
OMG genius! I will have to try this out, that totally makes sense! Yea if you want to make a tutorial that'd be so awesome! I think I can figure out just by your description, I will have to see if it works in SAI or possibly do this in photoshop after the piece is done. :D Thank you!
