second eye pattern method doesn't work as well if the glue doesn't soak ALL the way through your image paper. The smoother, newer or warmer the E6000 the more likely that is to happen. the second eye pattern method really looks gorgeous when it works!
I also purchase my eye blanks from delviesplastics.com you can also get them at tapplastics I believe

Question for ya if its alright, I am confused what you poor resin into to make follow me eyes? I used paint trays with more depth to get a more cylinder circle then a flatter circle but even if its paint or paper soon as you look at it from an angle it reflects and what ever you painted or glued on cant even be seen. I checked the site you linked for these 'domes' but I am slightly confused by what you mean- im just looking for ways to make the eyes themselves lol
