I would of though having a form based off of Ash would make you worse in each and every stat. Though if this form is brought about from a strong bond then why the heck hasn't this happened to Pikachu? Don't ash and him have the strongest bond out of the entire team? Then again, they've given Pikachu far too many unnecessary things over the years. I just hope this'll be an event like, say, the spikey eared pichu from heart gold and soul sliver for example.

Most likely it will be an event Pokemon. I think they did this as well with Serena's Pokemon too.

I understand the whole Greninja bond thing is kinda odd because Pikachu has been with Ash since day 1. The Greninja may end up being an event Pokemon in the end because if they do this for Greninja, they need to do this for the other Kalos starters as well.

Don't take it personally, I just think people are being too negative towards both Ash's Greninja and the Zygarde forms. My only hope is that Pokemon Z will have as much content in it as ORAS did and some extra stuff.

My hopes that the next pokemon game will seem more pokemon n less digimon in my book... as much fun as i had in kalos the whole Mega mon thing was such a weird turn for me... looked cool, but weird... :I Oh well.

I can only imagine how many people will take this phenomena the writers of the show pulled out of their ass for no good reason and use it to justify shitty special snowflake OCs that have the same bond bullshit happen to their Pokémon. "It's okay for my Pokémon to have all of these stupid colors and accents because Ash had it happen to his Greninja!"

It's already started

There are OCs EVERYWHERE in just about everything... and people hate them 100%, even if the ideas are good and they put effort into making the. I can understand just recolors and ones made with no forethought, but I'm just getting tired of all the flack this and Zygarde's forms have been getting from people who were wanting 7th gen to happen. Seriously, I'm sick of it.

The quality of the idea is certainly... Subjective. Many ideas I encounter are difficult to respect because they have no regard to canon material to the point where they may as well make their own IP. Fanon should complement canon, not curbstomp it. Frankly effort means jack if the outcome is a failure. I mean sure you learn from your failure, but other than that? I'm a fan of trollishly ludicrous extremes and hyperbole so I'll pose the question: Hitler put a lot of effort into the Holocaust. Does that make it a good thing? Of course not.

I frankly like the Zyagarde forms. They all make perfect sense when you take into account Nordic mythology. It's just the Ash Greninja thing that's stupid and nonsensical. It's neat from an art perspective, but that's where my positivity ends. Ash never had this happen to any of his other Pokémon, so why start now? It seems like GF is trying so hard to toss in so much extra lore and unearranted mystical bullshit (ergo the entire Az back story) to convince everyone to make Kalos their favorite region. Newsflash, GF, you blew that chance when you made the game's entirety revolve around Lumiose Shitty, which is from a game design perspective perhaps the worst "core" city in an RPG that I have ever seen in my entire life. That is not an exaggeration.

Lastly I am in no rush for Gen 7 to come out. They can take their sweet time. A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad. That said however, it still boggles my mind, that B/W, their Magnum Opus, was crafted in less time than X/Y, their Parvum Opus.

Ash's Greninja having this special transformation just for him is such an unbelievably ridiculous idea. None of his other pokemon had or needed it, why the fuck would they start now?

It may end up being just an event Pokemon like Torchic with Speed Boost or the Shiny Beldum.

Everyone has been saying that about Game Freak, and I don't believe it for a second. They always manage to come up with ideas for Pokemon, even if Gen 6 did have the fewest.

It wouldn't make sense pikachu gets a completely 'new look' because it's final evolution IS RAICHU.
And it's been shown in a couple of episodes why pikachu doesn't want to evolve into raichu. Even
Professor Sycamore explained to Ash, that pikachu WOULD never get a mega because the mega
would always have to be the final form of the Pokemon's evolution. Even though Ash is extremely
close to Pikachu, he cares about his pokemon equally there's no favorites which is considered
the number one best for him.

Still though, Greninja is just a poor way of going about things...

Greninja (and the other Kalos starters for that matter) are not ready for a Mega yet. Besides, Greninja's good enough as is, a Mega would make it absolutely broken if it kept Protean as its ability.

Sadly this form is only in the XY & Z anime. But... I hope they'll use the idea for Sun and Moon. That would be totally epic. And.. Well.. Maybe an oppoturnity to have our own custom pokemons that also looks like how you are *^* That Would Be Freaking Awesome!

yeah but Ash never brings his good pokemon to new regions (except Jhoto and the Orange Island) but i have to agree if Ash had brought Greninja to Alola then maybe he could have win the league (Ash should have won the Kalos league)
