This piece looks absolutely amazing, the red is so stark against the black and white of the sink and the arm... Your color choice is phenomenal. I think this piece would lose its power if it had been done any other way.

Well, when I was little (five or six-ish), we used to have a garbage disposal in our sink.. and everytime it went off, the sound scared the bajeesus out of me. I was always afraid of something like this happening. o_o Last year in my portfolio prep. class, one of our weekly sketchbook assignments was "garbage"... and it reminded me of this, so I drew it.
