Having drug my lovely Shiba around the country more than once, and through some really bad shit... Good job, you've outdone yourself, and not a single line of commentary. Sadly, my young girl's no longer with us, and your timing is perfect, found out a few days back. Thank you, for making me remember the fond memories, over the bad news.
This is a really beautiful piece of work Salkitten.
And you've already proven yourself time and
again to be a talented artist. In nine pages
you've managed to tell a very heartwarming
story, using no dialogue and a monochromatic
color scheme. And I really do think that part
of it's charm is the soft, slightly blurry, watercolor
effect you used for this. It gives the whole thing
a warm, intimate charm that would be totally lost
with sharp, clear lines and lots of colors.

Loved this, really hit close to me because my dad is homeless and his dog used to be the most important thing to him. I worry for him all the time. He has a cat now but that cat couldn't ever protect him like a dog could. I wish he was physically capable of training and taking care of a dog again, I'd feel safer, but he's finding walking harder and harder every day. Just know I loved this comic, thank you for sharing it.
