As a joke, my sister drew a little mantis with a top hat on its head in her card to me on my birthday this summer, and let me tell you, that little pencil sketch improved my day, no, my life. Thus, Top Hat Mantis was born. She's considering including the character in the animations she helps with, but until then, I can have my good friend Piotr (who changes his name on Facebook more than any other person I know) photoshop a top hat onto a picture of Issue, my Chinese mantis.
