Warrin was found and adopted by a not-quite elderly man who though enjoys some modern comforts, is very in touch with his aboriginal heritage, at a young age and somehow hasn't noticed he's very different from his small family(because of the cryptid status of his species, he's had no real point of reference to have a "Tarzan" moment).
