Axis of Conflict is rebooting.

With all of the wonderful webcomic series out there like Lackadaisy, TwoKinds, Zoophobia, and so many others, I've been missing my comic and the monstrous world I built for it all through the 1990s and then abandoned begrudgingly after graduating college.

After some talks and excited planning with my old partners, I've decided to get the band back together and reboot the series.

The Reboot will begin where we left off; I'll be releasing painted versions of my old graphite pages with an updated storyline but otherwise original. The previous comic takes place and concludes on Earth in 1996. The new story will pick up 20 years into the future in modern day. Each story will close the gap between the two points in time while simultaneously moving forward.

The story follows a pod of hybrids as they escape their creators/captors in an effort to be free and take control of their own lives while trying to piece together their pasts and their uncertain futures. Full of classic heroes and villains, the future jump levels off to show what life for them has turned into 20 years later. Lots of twists and turns, romance and violence, mixing potent transformation themes with everyday drama of holding a common job in a human America.

Axis of Conflict was originally drawn and published as a black-and-white comic in 1995-1996. The 2015 reboot is picking up the story 20 years into the future, beginning with a retelling of the original story. Comic (chapter) #1 is 15 pages. Comic/Chapter #2 will begin January, 2016. Pages are published semi-weekly, on weekends.
