Today's episode mixes bits of Arthur Davis (and Bill Scott), Walt Disney (and T. Hee), Monty Python, J.W. Kennedy and a well-known game, all in the service of showing how the High Valley is dealing with one of the most dangerous guests in all of Faerie.
Speaking of J.W. Kennedy, have you seen

"It can be very useful, on the other paw, disguising one's self as a cat-tail. Helps in taking a morning shower."

A side note on "What Makes Daffy Duck?":
There's one very funny sight-gag later on, where Fudd, at gunpoint, tells the unnamed fox to throw Daffy down, and then put his, the fox's, paws in the air. This is done so violently that the "gloves" come, revealing feral fox paws underneath his anthro gloves. A very rare usage of this kind, and brilliantly executed.

I wonder ... who exactly was Cpl. Flake's magick tutor?
Wise Professor Skunk elucidates:
"In this situation, if the Wolf Queen were to fight the Great Lady on her own initiative, there would be no breach of Hospitality since the Wolf Queen herself is also a guest. Mind you, such action on the Wolf Queen's part would have to be done without the foreknowledge or approval of her hosts. Tradition would only require that the hosts express their disapproval of the conflict, in order to preserve the honor of their House."
"For the Heir and the Ice Guard to take part in surveillance of a guest, in my mind comes awfully close to a breach of etiquette, but as long as they take no action there is no offense. However, the Wolf Queen's presence with them makes them complicit in any action she may take, so I'm afraid that, as the situation is here presented, there is no way for Alys and her House to come out of this without some taint of dishonor."
