A character drawn before I had a good story behind it.
Using her in a more futuristic RP. She has some bio-ware and a little cyber-ware. But she still relies on nunchukus and escrima sticks with Jui Jitsu.
She was used for an RP which as the others died out before a conclusion.
Her species is based design wise like that of a dragon, but there are big differences. Here, let me copy and paste the info from the RP character sheet.
Bio/History: Thraxah are a reptilian humanoid race with prehensile tails. Most Thraxah are intrigued by mechanics. They tend to take things apart just to figure out how they work, and then put them back together, making the item better than before.
Thraxah are warmblooded, despite their reptilian appearance. The average male stand round 7' tall while the females just barely squeak past 5'. The males tend to be stronger, while the females are faster and more flexible. They have hair upon their heads, much like a human, and the styles and color vary. Their skin also varies from black to grey, white, brown, and most lighter/pastel versions of the color wheel. Their external ears resemble frill on a dragon. They have 3 clawed toes per foot, and 4 clawed fingers per hand.
Thraxah have a rather long lifespan, unlike a human. It is not unheard of for one to live to 250 years of age.
Their social lives are not much different than a human. A male and female are needed to produce offspring. Like humans, Thraxah have a gestation period, though theirs tends to last 15 months. When a Thraxah is born it's capabilities are on par with a 2 year old human.
Thraxah try to form a life bond or marriage. It is unheard of to separate after joining. Typically arrangements are set up by parents in the first year of the child's life.
Thraxah has been into intergalactic travel and trade for well over 1,000 years now. Even though a lot of their technology is advanced, in the home, they tend to live more simply.
The droids/robots they build have benefited many races throughout time. From delicate surgery, to demolishing buildings, to simple maids to help around the house. Thraxah robots are well know. Within the past 500 years Thraxah have been tinkering with biotechnology and cyber-ware. It's become very popular in the past 50 years, with all sorts of beings desiring it for their own reasons. While the Thraxah may create and produce the bio-mechanicals and cyber-ware, it against their own sense of being to use the devices on themselves. Doing so is likely to have you put to death, or worse, forced exile. Death is welcomed over exile.
Kartoa itself is a planet, roughly the size of the earth, with a similar climate. There really isn't a winter on Kartoa. Most of the planet is still covered in its natural environment. The Thraxah, despite their advanced technology, still value the natural balance of their home world and will do anything to preserve it. One thing most Thraxah love more than their families is their planet.
Description: Ryoshi stands a mere 5' in height. She weighs 104lbs. Her skin is a pastel yellow, with lighter undertones. Her hands, feet, "ear" tips and tail tip are a charcoal grey that softly fades back to yellow. Her left "ear" is pierced four times. 2 on top, 2 on bottom. Her right "ear" is pierced twice on the bottom. Her tail is usually adorned with 3 tail rings. Usually copper in color. Her hair is a deeper fiery red. Her left eye is a mix of orange, red and yellow, almost like a living flame. A scar runs from her forehead to just below her cheekbone on the right side, crossing over the eye. Her right eye appears cold, dead, blind.
Ryoshi is an exile from Kartoa. She's implemented not just one, but several pieces of the cyber-ware into herself. She's found the rush from it to be like a high from a drug.
She had created some new versions and upgrades. However, with no-one to test it on, she would secretly use herself as the subject. This worked fine until the company she worked for installed cameras. They had been hearing from other employees that something didn't seem right with Ryoshi. Several believed she was experimenting on herself, and they were right.
Ryoshi was put on trial and convicted of the worst crime. The judge felt even death would not be punishable enough and had her exiled from Kartoa. She was allowed to take her personal ship, a few tools, some clothes, and a few necessities.
Ryoshi had made sure to pack many of her devices and tools that were considered outlawed on Thraxah and hid them amongst the normal items and clothing she took with her.
She spent some time in space and going planet to planet that her species had visited in the past. Even if she broke the law of her own planet, she wasn't going to break intergalactic laws. Like the ones that protect the more "primitive" worlds. Those who have not yet reached the scientific level of space travel and exploration.
She found some temporary employment on some planets. Making robots and teaching the people of said planet a thing or two about robots and mechanics. These employments never lasted overly long. If the people felt they could learn no more, they would thank her and send her on her way. Others felt uncomfortable with her zeal for mechanical, bio and metal and would ask her to leave.
On occasion she was given some jobs that allowed her to advance her bio-mechanical skills. Although this was few and far between. Aside from adjusting her own enhancements she needed more people to "experiment" on.
While hanging out at a space diner at the edge of the Capricorn Dwarf galaxy, she hooked into the matrix to see of any possible job listings. ((information highway, internet, outernet, whatever you call it around here. shadowrun calls it the matrix and SR was out before the movie of same name.)) While she could search from her own ship, it was limited as to how far she could search. Space stations tend to have stronger signals and broader search capabilities.
She had found a listing for a mechanical maintenance worker at Xilinx Universal Penitentiary. While she would normally shy away from going anywhere near a prison, something told her to apply and see what happens.
She was accepted near immediately when she applied for the job. After a month or so, she went to the director and asked him a question most would deem as odd. She asked if she could use prisoners on death row as test subjects, for her wares. She was a bit surprised that the director agreed to her request.
If she's not fixing something mechanical on the station or tuning a robot, she is likely to be found in the "back room". The prisoners labeled the room as such. Most the time if one was brought back there, they didn't return. And when they did, they were for the worse.
Behind the closed doors she tries to improve her wares to an extreme level. This tends to lead a good deal of the death row in-mates to an early grave.
