In today's episode, we see, among other things: the Master of Elfhame showing his detective skills, the young and full-of-beans pup of "X" and "Y" showing that the Sixth of His Name isn't the only young fur that can mess about with magicks, and "X" looks deeply distracting in a tight black silk dress. We have only WW5's opinion on that, but we know how he is about dark-furred femmes.
At the present time, no left-pawed moths are under suspicion.

Definitely need to have X meet the gypsies.
So, we learn several things today. Our book thief is a very serious magic user, Z is cute and a handful, the Marshal spends enough time with the family to have the pup be familiar with him, and... WW5 is a better detective than either X or Y. But I'll bet that by the next time someone visits, the feral animals don't get past the wards on the walls.
