In today's episode, the Marshal and the Master of Elfhame visit General Sir Horace Wesson, the editor of the Flowers of Other Furs poetry anthology, and get some background as to its history. In addition, aside from a cameo by a well-known (notorious?) ant-eater, we see a number of fascinating femmes in starched white-and-seersucker uniforms. (It is coincidence that
tegerio did a funny drawing of Kelly O'Dor in a nurse's uniform yesterday.)
For those that care, the hospital for aged soldiers depicted here is something of a cross among the institutions in Kilmainham (outside Dublin) and the still-extant one at Chelsea (London), with perhaps a bit of the old Infirmary building at Choate Rosemary Hall, as it existed in the early 1980s.
As usual, I bow to
tegerio, the creator of the Faerie universe that these stories are set in.

Heh.... the WW name continues to be famous (or infamous) and this means that the Corporal has a reputation that continues to precede him... and surprisingly, at times, it can actually be his own!
Limited number of poorly edited copies, eh? My theory holds water still....., in fact it is solidified.....

Poorly edited? Or deliberately mangled? The idea of a coded set of books remains operative...
Heh. And now we know where that obsessed anteater started her medical duties, don't we?
Well, at least with any luck the reputation of WW5 as Throne-breaker and Manuscript-Chaser will eventually eclipse that of the Skirt-Chaser in regards to roebucks.
