Now for a brief inspiration break! A side thing that my friends and I enjoy doing is hanging out in graveyards. This one is up in Central City, Colorado. Quite a peaceful place it is! Although it's an older place, new graves still appear, and what's really neat is that this place is very active in regards to people working with ancestors. While we were wandering, we found some very interesting things which people left behind, this face was subtle, yet eerie enough that it stuck in all of our minds. While I do love nature completely untouched, I also love nature when it interacts with the human experience. In this overgrown part of the cemetery, who hung this sculpture? Were they visiting someone, or is this here as a voice and remembrance of the hundreds of unmarked graves?
Anyways, on top of some awesome commissions, I've a ton of art planned for this month. Back to work!
