This is going to end well.

Some years ago, shortly before the sixth book of Harry Potter was published, The Guardian ran a competition for its readers to write a scene depicting Dumbledore's death in the style of a famous author. My personal favourite was the HP Lovecraft version ("The four-eyed child! He shall not have me! I am hurling myself from the window as I write!"), but the winning entry was a spoof of Irvine Welsh's Trainspotting, where the students got high on magical drugs handed out by "The Professor". This sounded sufficiently ominous that I knew I had to borrow it.
