It's been such a long time since I've been active here! I'm still diligently working on Myre and making great progress every day. Inbetween every large chapter, I lean back and try to work out the perks from the kickstarter back then. It's definitely a lot of painting! I can't imagine anything better though.

This is one of the larger perk paintings, Champion of Yria, for Syng Stripetail, whose character is sitting on one of the more resilient yet stubborn creature on Yria. They are ready to explore an ancient place which probably plays a real role later in the story. :)

Super excited to see my character fit into your world so fluidly :3 I am also thankful for the opportunity to participate and contribute to the ambitious Myre project in my own small way.
It was an absolute joy watching this idea develop from beginning to end...starting with some humble rough scribbles and culminating to the epic finished product seen here!

I think there is too much detail all over the place, and while it's impressive, it detracts a little from the overall piece. The focal point isn't really strong enough for my liking, everything is leading to the top right corner, the ball/disk thing, but it just needs some... tweaks?
Feel free to take it with a grain of salt, especially because I'm not a professional concept artist, but I feel like my critique is still somewhat valid.
