I did this drawing 2 weeks ago but never submitted it until now .3. There's two versions because I wanted to show her face markings and stuff.

Long story short of why I made this character:

- About 3 weeks ago, I went to the therapist for the first time so I was chatting with him about my problems.etc. He asked what I did at college and what I wanted to do as a career, so I told him and he said he would like to see my art someday, so I told him that I had art on my phone. At the end of the session, he was saying that I should make two characters - one that represents optimism while the other represented pessimism/depression/anxiety. With these two characters, I could "talk" to them and listen to the optimism more, as if I don't want to be friends with the pessimist anymore. So that was part of my "homework" to do for the week after.

- Originally I was going to make a mountain weasel character for optimism but instead I used my existing character Avril since she's pretty much optimistic. For the pessimist, I decided to pick a serval since I always wanted a serval OC but I also like them, I thought maybe their personality might fit this character in a way (I sort of realized I was thinking of a caracal .3.) This character wears a hoodie and tends to have her hood up as she "doesn't like eye contact" very often unless it was someone she's close to like a friend or family member.

- After going back to the therapist, I explained about the two characters and he loved the designs along with asking some questions about them. Now I need to create a script based on a pinkish-red booklet that he gave me, in other words I'll be typing down what my character's views are on a situation that usually makes me feel anxious.etc.


So that's how Jinx came about .3.

I'll draw her without the hoodie soon but she has regular serval markings also her hands are the same markings/colours as her feet.

I'll develop her on Charahub but I'll make up a journal of her information soon~
