So.... yeah.... um... I love how this came out, I so hope that it is well recieved. I am still trying to figure out the best way to display sweat, but everything in this came out far better than I expected. Plus this entire image is 100% original, often I borrow poses from other images, redrawing them to help fuel my creativity, but here, I posed for the camera, then I took a photo out in town, and wham, this is the result. Critiques requested.

Making a sole look properly sweaty is quite tricky, I have yet to accomplish that myself. However I really love what you did here, especially the reflecting city lights on the sweaty sole. Also I actually didn't notice at first that the buildings were taken from a photo :D
To be fair I liked the old way you portrayed sweat, but this is good too.
And finally a Garderia pic, that makes me so happy. Hell, I can't wait for another one~!
Ah, I now realized what was a bit unsettling to me. She has four toes instead of five, hm.
I realize it's the lightning but her skin seems less whitish-blue and more grayish... Mixed feelings about that but still okay.
I am interested in current canon for Garderia. You said that in current canon, she and some other pokemon became Goddesses after Arceus retired from this world. So I have to ask:
1. For what reason is she stomping the town? Or is she not going to actually stomp it and just holds her foot above it to have people fear her a bit? Or is this supposed to be some sort of purge or such?
2. Can she just revert the town to before it was destroyed?
3. Since Arceus could have been caught with a masterball, does it mean that Garderia possibly could too, if someone thrown it at her with her only noticing it when it is too late? I mean, it's likely that in such case she wouldn't listen as a pokemon but it being possible to catch her or just stop her like other pokemon gods makes it more... balancing? Fair? Hard to tell.
4. Can she freely change her size or she remains at this size?
5. Will we see more Garderia soon? I checked furaffinity everyday in hopes of you uploading another Garderia or just foot-related pic, but Garderia was the priority in my mind.
6. So she only has the purple glove on one hand? Or is it just that she's covering the other arm too much to see it?

You never saw the "Old" way I portrayed sweat. You mean't the traditional art method. also, in lesser light like this, you will see more reflection on the sweat than each individual droplet like in my Traditional pictures.
Yeah, The lighting kinda takes away from the whitish blue from her skin.
No reason she is stomping the town, Its just a picture, but if I had to explain it in her Canon, it would basically be a "reminder" for her people, as well as just a little fun for herself.
Yes she can revert it, Will she? debateable.
I am a firm believer that the ability to catch Arceus is just a game mechanic and that in a real pokemon setting it would be impossible to catch him, even with a master ball. as such a master ball could not catch Garderia. also pokeballs don't exist in this setting.
She can freely change her size, but doesn't like being too small, she likes to seem imposing and intimidating, as well as always feared a little bit.
I admittedly forgot to draw her gloves (and her earring) while technically clothes are not required items, She really likes those gloves.

True, I was talking about the traditional art sweat.
Oh, so one of these "Tyrannical Gods" settings where you are basically screwed if you live there as you have really no way to oppose them.
<Shrugs>
Eh, it's a setting for a mega-giantess fantasy, doesn't need more. I mean, with your Braxia OC the worlds were technically screwed more. Although that makes me wonder, there are no pokeballs? Is the setting full of humans or pokemorphs? Is it basically modern equivalent of the Mystery Dungeon series in a way, as that would fit best?
Although It makes me wonder if there are those that Garderia considers friends who are not gods.
And technically this will make her and other gods closer to Arceus from the Pokemon Movie instead. Where there it is possible to resist Arceus only if Dialga and Palkia help you and even they might fail. Hell, I think the only way Pikachu could hurt Arceus was due to his lack of Electricity Plate. I wonder if such case of elemental weaknesses applies here.
Still, I must say I can't wait for more pictures of Garderia with her either being bigger or receiving some foot worshipping or such. Or droplets of her foot sweat falling and just covering people or flooding streets... or cities if she goes bigger.

Lemme sum up the setting, at the turn of the century, as humanity was advancing closer to what you might see in a scifi setting, Arceus was near his end, and he did not like how the world was going. He brought about an extinction level event that wiped the earth of All life. And afterwords, he took what he felt were the best traits of humans and pokemon, can combined them into one "race". And these pokemorphs inherited the earth. With Arceus's passing, some time into the medieval time period ( or rather it's equivalent) his power was released, and with his dying breath he guided it to choose new hosts, knowing a pantheon of gods as opposed to one would keep the world balanced. As such the precursor era ended and the age of presidence began. Mostly one pokemon of each element was embued with a part of Arceus' power.
During this age these gods claimed parts of the world as their own, and countries were formed. One for each type. Also during this time Giratina had passed, and gave his power to a pokemon, who claimed control of the outerlands (aka the Dark continent)
The gods have varying personalities, Garderia isnt a tyrannical or cruel. God, she is however and authoritarian, she does not take well to disrespect or insubordination. However, she is understanding and is known to forgive those who repent, and show fealty. But technically. Yes, no one can oppose the gods. Later in the history of the setting, the gods chose special people whoe embodied their ideals best as lesser gods. Who in terms of power, the would seem on the same level as the first gods. However they are in truth, far weaker, and as such, allowed by the pantheon to visit the living world in their stead more often. Think of those gods as ambassadors to the people of the world. I plan on drawing all the gods some time soon. Maybe as on group reference to start, or individuals, i can take requests on which god you would like to see next. (Based on their type affiliation)

Ah. Sorry. I just tend to overthink these types of things, it's basically my brain going "Well, yes, for a little bit it would be awesome to be there but think about longer periods of time in such world!"
I was a bit confused on setting due to how you seem to have clearly electrical lights that light up the letters of Pokemon Center, if that is what it is.
By what you said with visiting the living world more often, then I assume it means that the gods of Pantheon can appear very rarely. Seemingly, it makes it sort of similar to Forgotten Realms setting. I assume that, somehow, there might be an artifact or such that could kill a God Pokemon in this setting, however that would attract anger of rest of pantheon, as with D&D.
Still, other than the lesser gods, are there times where gods of this world just basically do that old trope of taking on a mortal or such guise, or even like a spirit of forms kind of thing to interact with a mortal or such before revealing the true form? Kind of like Zeus except way less "Oh-god-why" and such?
As for the next god, which of the types have a female goddess? I'd like to choose out of such list. Although I'd really like to see some more of Garderia.
And... Well. Don't get me wrong. I like that you are setting up a whole setting and such but it kinda has its drawbacks. With Garderia and other pokemorph gods they are exactly that, Gods. They are unapproachable, unstoppable, etc. With the old times, before you estabilished this setting, as far as I remember, Garderia was a pokehybrid created by Team Rocket out of Ampharos, Gardevoir and I... forgot what else. She couldn't reach Giga or Mega sizes but due to her mortal status, she was more... approachable, yeah.
Here, the Goddess Garderia can do the mega or even giga scenarios, but I assume pics of her interacting with individual people or such, even showing friendship, would be way way waaaaaay rarer due to her status.
Out of curiosity, is there any chance of ever seeing a pic of the Old-Lore Hybrid Garderia too?
Sorry for talking so much bout this

Well like I said, this picture isn't entirely canon, especially considering the pokemon sign. But If I wanted to argue how it could be canon, I would argue that a pkmn store is more a convenience store line, like a 7-11. Just like in a lot of fantasy and scifi plots, the same thing can show up in different context from dimension to dimension or time to time. And as for. Taking on a guise of a mortal, yes that happens.
And while yes, under normal circumstances you cant just approach them ( except in the time when their power was manifesting and they were claiming Territory.) I made it a point that even after leaving this mortal plane, they are still more directly involved with the world, just its ussually from the shadows. As the do like to keep the world running itself to a degree. This is in part why the. Monarchy system that most countries follow is a bit corrupted and onesided. Royalty tending to treat the common folk very poorly, and common folk typically couldnt do anything against them, seeing as your royal status is given by your blood line, as all royal families are descended directly from the gods. The inherited their immense size, though unlike gods, their size varies extremely and it isnt controllable. The largest non god. Pokemorph in history was a 2000ft. Lapras. Who outsized the next closest by nearly 1250ft.
As for types of gods, ill just send you a list once I get home.
As for old lore Garderia, she looked the same, so its not so much i could draw her as it would be drawing her smaller in this version.

Well, it also just brings up the question on how their durability and power increases with size, at least with the non-gods. I mean, the non-gods or lesser ones could technically be opposed...
As for old Garderia, she kinda had the lighter blues but other than that, she was the same, yeah. It's just that the old lore Garderia, like I said, seemed more like one that would be okay with having some friends or people she likes, because simply being a large pokehybrid rather than a goddess does mean difference in behavior. And even the different in the world has its effects as the surroundings would be more modern, with possible trainers who did not necessirely CATCH Garderia but might have attempted that or just befriended her Ash-style.
Now, so essentially it's like a D&D setting with pokemorphs replacing various humans and demi-humans or monsters, while royalty is like quasi-deities or lower due to their bloodline. Hm.
Out of curiosity, is there any specific reason that Arceus was not satisfied with previous world? Also, was the whole universe remade or simply the solar system while any other civilizations on other planets in galaxy were untouched? One side has Arceus be super incredibly powered up if he remade whole universe as he was dying, while the other has the possiblity of other civilizations interacting.
And how tall CAN the actual gods and goddesses in this setting get?

They can get any size they want to be, I never really. Delved into anything off planet really, seeing as the pokemon setting never really did it either. the bulbapedia page states Arceus as maker of sinnoh and potentially the pokemon universe, which only spans the planet for the most part. My decision for why Arceus didnt like the world, just look at how the real world is now. Its a horrible place, I would wipe it if given the option.
Yes, royals become more durable with size however they do not get any sort of supernatural powers. And people could possibly fight them. But no, the lesser gods are beyond mortals as well lest they be blessed by one of the pantheon.

Ehhh, ewentually it will become something like in Forgotten Realms, one of the Gods creating a Curse they can't lift and it actively gives the mortal a way to become immortal or such and fight the gods themselves. Such was the way of the Spirit Eater in Mask of Betrayer.
Now, again sorry for asking so many questions and all. Thank you for answering all of these.
Again, I just want to say I can't wait to see more Garderia stuff, either the goddess one having more such scenarios or the old lore one simply being playful with some trainers or pokemon.
I can't wait for that list
Edit: And hey, who knows what would happen if some advanced space civilization attempted to fight the lesser gods, and by that I mean those blessed by the pantheon
