For many years Cassandra had been sick, her own psychic abilities a curse on her life, hurting her weakening her and there was little that gave her hope for her future. She was weak, she was isolated. Many of her childhood friends long gone, moved on with their lives many years ago and here she was at nineteen. The psychic lynx had a few she looked up to, superheroes, those of fiction and those of reality. From the ones that fought crime throughout comicbooks that filled the shelves in her room, to those who were on display for the whole world to see on the news. Dashing through videos, caught on camera in newspapers. There was one however, another lynx, that inspired her, gave her hope for the future that perhaps she would be able to take flight and do amazing things herself. Help people.
Evay. Evay, the Mighty Cyber-Lynx.
"To be a heroine...means to put the life of others before your own. To be the light against the darkness, we all risk something we love. We all fight for different reasons...some rectifying the pain of loss...others compelled to use their gifts. I started off because I wanted to learn about myself and I have indeed come far. With good friends and allies along the way, they will help you grow...I will help you grow...you too can be the light in the dark...you too can be a heroine; it just takes a lot of balls and good friends at your side."
Now here she was, with the one she looked up to the most. The woman who taught her to fly. Well and you know, there's the fact that Cassandra finds Evay kind of hot xD
This is a piece I commissioned from Atherra recently, of my psychic lynx Cassandra, who has now found a home in the Colmaton universe, up in the air with the superhero she looks up to the most, the Mighty Cyber-Lynx Evay. This image not only serves as a preview for a scene in an eventual in story meeting between Evay and Cassandra, but as a reminder of one author who inspired me to push forward with my own superhero ideas and concepts, whose storyline has not only made me cry (more than once), but go to sleep with a smile. Duhast, I thank you for being such an inspiration and I am very much happy to be able to work alongside you. I promise to never slow down, and keep on moving with all my ideas and characters wherever they may lead me!
