“Hello, miss. May I help you?”
“Yes, I’m here to apply for the modeling job.”
“Ah, the one for my Life Painting class?”
“Yes, that’s the one. I admit, I was a little surprised at the… specific requirements you had for applicants.”
“You’re wondering why I asked for a predator?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Well, as I’m sure you know, miss, this school is predominantly attended by prey species; many have never even seen a real predator up close before, much less had an opportunity to paint one. I would like my students to broaden their horizons and paint a subject that they wouldn’t have a chance to otherwise. Of course, I will expect you to act professionally and refrain from devouring any students or faculty while you’re on campus for the job. Don’t come to my class hungry. Do you think you can handle that?”
“Hmm…”
“Miss?”
“Sir, I can make sure I’m not tempted to eat any of your students and give them a chance to paint a ‘real predator’ at the same time.”
“Excellent. I’ll see you in my class tomorrow morning at 7:30, then.”

I did it, guys! This is day 31 of voretober, meaning I posted a vorish sketch or drawing every single day this month! It’s been a fun adventure, and it can be surprising how much drawing every day helps; I feel a lot more confident about my art, especially the linework in the sketches. Of course, this being finished does not mean I won’t continue drawing regularly! Just don’t expect to be seeing these being posted as often as you have this month. As fun as this has been, I don’t want to burn myself out.
Happy Halloween, everyone!

Wow! Congratulations on a whole month of updates. That is a pretty amazing accomplishment.
More related to the picture, I love that smile. She looks so smug, showing off her catch to a group of prey like that.
Happy Halloween and I look forward to seeing even more of your stuff on your new schedule.
