And so, with a slightly different point of view, we end this adventure of Westersloe Winterbough V, Master of Elfhame and magick-user in the service of the High King of Faerie.
Judging from the numbers reading the story, it looks like my tl;dr rant scared off a number of readers. Oh, well, what the hell.
This is still the Red Network of Fur Affinity. Keep your eyes open for the roebuck's next adventure!

I must say, the state of mind that WW5 is in at the moment is very fitting. This would be a disturbing discovery for one who grew up with the belief that his father and brothers, not to mention so many of the other Elfhamian roebucks, died in service to the crown as part of a battle against rebellious barons. The fact that their leadership was perceived as incompetent was bad enough, but to find that it was a planned disaster "...All to feed the anger and vanity of a small cabal of furs." would be soul crushing... no wonder he is so down at heart, even with young Mud-Magnet and Little Star's presence. Fortunately he is blessed with an understanding mate who senses that there will be a need for support and consideration in the present and near-future.
Will definitely be keeping my eye out, actually will be hanging-out, for the next story.... usually sitting and rechecking for the latest posting at midnight and beyond when I am in civilisation. (Quite a bit of the time I am off the grid, remote travelling for either work or relaxation)
