Coming along! This is made of so many stitches. So many. When I started making the first front leg, I made the foot and ankle bit and held it up to the head/body and thought, wow that needs to be a lot bigger! The typical size of front limbs for this large size is about 13 stitches per row. I started the foot over and the average row has 25 stitches! The average large doll has a body that's 44 stitches per row at its widest point, and this one is 66! The front limbs are actually roughly the same size as a medium doll's body.
The overall shape is different than what I'm used to, and I'm really pleased with how it's shaping up!

This is so fantastic ;; I can't stop looking! Thank you so much for these WIP shots - I ADORE how he is coming out. I also thoroughly appreciate the time and effort you put forth to ensure he remained proportionate. So grateful. I know how time consuming it can become to do the larger crochet dolls and I seriously appreciate it!
