Dag-nabit! I shudda knowed better than to buy anythin' from that door-to-door tree and cat salesman! *walks out on porch and shakes cane* "Dang leopard, get outta my tree!!!" *throws old shoe* . *mumbles* third one this week....
Another so-so photo. I'll replace it with a scan sometime this week.
This is something of a speed draw. I used some techniques experimentally to see if I can get a reasonably complex piece out in a week or less. Forewent a lot of my usual fur detail and went with a lot of shading.
I'll be picking at this for a couple more days.
Been wanting to practice leopard spots for ever now. Still need practice so got another one planned soon.
As always, comments

Thanks Kan. Yes, experimenting with style and technique. Happy with some but not others.
More mature huh, well I can fix that! How about I do one of those "please the boob fan" pieces next? Actually I need to do something to go on my adult panel at MFF that's coming up quick. Any input?

giggles Well, my deer, I do have an actual idea. There has been in image floating around in my mind for several years. What about a male jaguar, with an deer doe lover? His big claws extended with his powerful arms around her, but she is quite relaxed with him, for she has full trust in him. I also see it in a native American setting, pre-columbus, much like my Spiritwalk setting I had done recently - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/17637562/.
This is NOT Bala, but another doe. I have a feeling it's taking place around that time period. But I will note, there is a story behind it, but it's very nebulous so I cannot give real details on it. Just an image is all.

I really NEED to start doing couples and this sounds like a piece I can really get into mentally. But it'll have to wait till after MFF because a piece like that would be a fairly long term project. But keep nudging me about it and the piece I gotta do for you! I need more nudging. :)
Any single character piece that would be tastefully adult that I could expect to get done within a couple weeks? Preferably female?

I just read a delightful story, about a black panthress, who was very dom, and had a rather impressive build (ahems) I mean a 'H cup'? Jezz...if she wasn't a RIDE (a form of an anthropomorphic black panther robot) I'd feel so for her back! (The story is here - http://shifti.org/wiki/User:Hawl/Cr.....ider%27s_Dream)
I also remember this video too, that might be -- inspiring (giggles) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06o4skl2xzg
Duance, baby!
See if you can work with that? Black fur I found, if done right, can be a great painting.
hbruton I think has done ones before, and done well.

I am honored you think so, Natasha and Balaa are two of my four greatest inspirational anthro artists and my work pales in comparison. Leopards, hmmm, Maybe if I practice enough with the spots. Most artists seem to avoid african leopards because of the spotted pain they are. I like doing cat markings though. Just gotta do more. . .. :.: ::.:: ..: :.. :)
interesting pose, done very well. also like the face and spots, too, and shading works out the same. :) most people won't go and look that close, anyway. XD
personally I'd have made the paws much bigger to commemorate the weight resting on them compared to a four-legged stance. but that's just me, he probably doesn't weigh as much as a lion. :)
