Im reminded of the commercial with the lamp being replaced and thrown away on a rainy day with sad music playing. Suddenly it ends with "this is just an inanimate object, stop being sad over it".

But then I remember "WIIIILLSOOOON!" and get all sad again.

This is a very touching piece. The emotion is clear as well some of the symbolism within it, telling a story for the viewers to figure out.
