My place of work does not suffer from Black Fridays stampedes for bargains or Boxing Day avalanches of returns. In fact the first few days after Christmas are pretty damn quiet.

We've got to get you to draw bigger raccoon tails, Baron. Those little puffballs always seem about 1/3 too small for the body mass for my tastes.
I like ball point pen on paper for doodles. It's one that can give you decent greyscale results. It's also a good training method for sketching loose as you are forced to draw loose and focus only on lines you want to keep while discarding others. For people who keep erasing their lines and starting over, it's a valid exercise that I use.
