Definitely little is being played straight here.... mind you, it always seemed unlikely that anything in Vulpitania was going to be played with good, clean fun... not even the very straightforward Companion may be as straight as she seems... or then again, is she?

(The funny thing is, I watched very little NBC programming growing up. The way our house was, on one side you couldn't pick up the weak Connecticut NBC station at all, and the Providence NBC station weakly; on the other side, where my parents had a TV in their room, you could get the Providence station. Rarely got to watch TV in their room. Ergo, never saw SuperTrain.)
