Twilight Princess - A New Tale - Wolf Zelda TF - Pg 2
The story of Twilight Princess appears to have taken a new turn – Zelda falls to the floor as her hind legs lose the ability to support her alone. As if turning into an anthro wolf wasn’t bad enough, she thought, she was now stuck on the floor on her four legs as a feral wolf. As her changes finished, her iconic dress tore apart and fell to the floor besides her as Midna confirmed her appearance. She jumped on to the new Wolf Zelda’s back and smiled, a new wolf for her to ride on through Hyrule. Wolf Zelda looks up, no longer capable of speaking, but shows her disapproving thoughts through a brief growl. How long would she be stuck like this? Even she couldn’t see a way to escape the transformation. Until then, Hyrule would have to cope with its princess as a wondering wolf…

i mean there could be more than just wolves, fish, cheetahs (you would have to catch up to them to talk with them, always running around), a a few dragons (maybe tied to the story). chickens (you have to have those, or it isn't a legend of zelda game). i could see the game have a pack building element to it. items would be tailored to the wolf like wolf glider, sort of a sled on wheels with a wing over it, you run off cliffs and fly off. Claw shots would function pretty much the same, yet on all four paws, you would be slowed down while they are equipped. just a few ideas.
True point about the chickens, only problem is with packs of wolves and cheetahs running around, they might not last too long if you know what I mean ^^'. I like the idea of pack building, maybe there could be an element where you need to co-operate with other animal packs to advance to areas and progress. Maybe the dragons could be a cause or linked to why Hyrule has turned into animals as wolves and cheetahs are normal animals while dragons are seen to be more mystical.
