Well, I see
Greykitty hasn't uploaded this yet. If I'm wrong or she does so after this, I'll update this with a link to the original.
Earlier this month she was looking for some help for a vet bill. I sent her a little something not expecting anything in return. She sent me this as a thank you.
As I look at this I envision that Aldin is acting out a scene from one of two tragedies. Either:
Shakespeare's Hamlet: "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio..." (using the acorn as a skull prop)
Or
Disney's Sword in the Stone, portraying the part of Merlin as he sings about love while Wart is chased by the girl squirrel. I've always found this to be a very tragic film in which the foolish human boy turns his back on the squirrel who just saved his life. For his punishment he's forced into British politics.

Yes, GK did a good job on this, especially when I didn't yet have a reference sheet for Aldin at that time.
The icon is a random eastern grey squirrel I caught many, many years ago on my old 35mm Kodak Instamatic in Portland, Maine's Deering Oaks park, back oh...20 years ago now.
