While covering the Midwest Fur Fest 2008 Fursuit Parade for the Daily Bugle, it was impossible not to notice the chill in the air. Even in the hotel, if you stood by the large windows, you would feel winter starting to settle. And if you were lucky enough to be on the first floor during the fire alarm, you got an up close and personal taste of the coming season of snow and ice.
Fortunately, some symbols of the final season of the year are not so unpleasant. Take this jolly cervine, clomp-clomp-clomping down the parade route, with his bells a jingle-jangling. Perhaps he was getting ready to tow Santa Roo's sleigh. And if he was, I hope he had the number of a good chiropractor!
I thought this suit was rather impressive and had a very friendly look to it. Though, I do not know this suiter's identity. I shall award 100 shiny, new bonus points to anyone who can. Enjoy!
Edit: the suiter has been identified as Akita Innus, aka Akitabou.
