"Mr. Mink, how does your client plead?"

"Your Honor, my client pleads not guilty with respect to all of the charges, except for the moving violation."

"People seek remand."

"Your Honor, I don't think that's necessary..."

"Counselor, your client created an act of mayhem that's extreme even by New York standards..."

"We will be claiming self-defense, Your Honor. My client is willing to put up the crown jewels of four kingdoms as bail."

"Do those jewels belong to her?"

"The People have no business asking that question, it's not at issue..."

"Never mind, counselor, nice try, but the lady horse is going to Rikers. I'm also going to issue an order of protection covering that facility."

"For my client?"

"No, for everyone else."
