I use to...but now its something like customer service over the phone...all day during my 45hrs a week

One of my friends works customer service for a Fuji (camera) branch here in the U.S. From what she's told me, it's a rarely rewarding, often insanity- or rage-inducing experience. I hope yours isn't too/as crazy.

not so much crazy...just makes me really question the education of some people....i mean... A lot at times

I agree, the things she's told me about her experiences has made me wonder not so much about others' education, but just their ability to think practically. The one instance that sticks out in my mind was where this one customer wanted a refund after hammering in a camera battery, ruining both the battery and the camera in the process. Never mind that he couldn't figure out that the battery was designed to slide into the casing one way only. But then, if he had figured that out, or at least read the instructions, he wouldn't have tried to apply hammer to battery in the first place, I guess. O_o;

The customer was denied a refund, by the way. :p

Yeah...its people like that, that really bother me...which is like 20% of my calls as they come in...questioning something about the product...yet have the book with them(sometime in their hand while on the phone) and somehow think its too hard to read it to save a phone call and a few brain cells
