FC Dealer Table Location
Looking for me in the Dealer's Room at FC? You might have to look for me outside of the room. Couldn't get a spot in the room, or in Artist Alley. I was able to get a table a bit further away, but I don't expect this to be any problem. It's just a wee bit outside of the Dealer's Room by, um, 800 miles. But hey, that's nothing, right?
In short, I'm not at FC this year for the first time ever. Maybe they'll let me have a table next year. Don't know if I'll apply. Time will tell.

I have confirmed and paid for dealer tables at BLFC and AC this year. I'm very excited to go to BLFC as I will be driving this time instead of flying and that means no luggage restrictions. I can bring my Suburban and enclosed cargo trailer. I will bring STUFF. Oh yes, lots of stuff.

I don't blame FC for missing out this year. They have too many dealers and not enough tables. There will always be winners and losers in any selection process they choose. It is what it is. In the end, I don't think it really matters much. When we only had Confurence, that was a big deal. But today? FC is soon to be dropping to the third largest con and may drop further with the growth of other cons so it's not really a big deal to miss out one con as another happens a month or so later anyways.
Ah... You're very wise and a good sport. The news I got might have just been hearsay and I shouldn't have gotten so upset over basically nothing. Besides... The genre has changed a LOT since I was involved In it, and every time I read about my friends and fans having a great time, I feel a bit saddened. I can say I had my moments in the sun, but it's time for others to get a chance at the game.
Attendance figures are in and FC has now experienced two years in declining membership whereas other cons are growing. AC, then MFF are the big ones. Even FWA is bigger than FC at this point. But for the west coast it looks like BLFC will be FC's replacement, much like FC replaced CF. Times change and so do cons.
I still want to try Furry Fiesta in Texas, because any excuse to visit the "Lone Star" state is a good one. My friend James speaks highly of MFM, and hey... BLFC sounds like it would be loads of fun. Thanks for the suggestions. Maybe I'll see you and James manning the Jarlidium Press booth again soon.
amen to that. im a cosplayer (i guess im professional?) it was soooooo nice not to have to buy a ticket for new york comic con last year XD
My convention list will be much smaller this year. mostly sticking to sakuracon and nycc this year. maaaaaaybe rainfurrest. but im not doing what i did in 2013 ever again. that was like 18 conventions i had to atttend @.@
