A fox figure wearing a green hoodie and camouflage trousers with a sheath and holster binded to him which indeed contained weapons walked along in the dark with a torch and looked around him curiously. So far, he found many twisted paths and routes that mostly were blocked due to cave ins but there always would be one path that would lead him deeper into the caves and the cold damp temperature followed as he delved deeper. "I must be close by now...I can sense that energy but...I don't see it." he thought to himself as he pressed on.

Suddenly, he felt a rumble in the ground and the ground began to break open below his feet. Without a huge chance to move, he fell and his grip on the torch loosened from instinct which fell and rolled on the ground beside him. Quickly, Max grabbed the ledge of the ground and grumbled "Gah, damn it....That was close..." Max turned his head about to look below him and did hear parts of what was once the ground land shortly after he grabbed the ledge. Reaching out for the torch, he grabbed it with a spare paw and moved it below the hole to analyze how deep the hole was and realized the fall was not life threatening, but there was a chance that what he'd land on would hurt a lot unless he cuts the drop length so he could land more softly. Looking about at the hole, he noticed there was small cracks and room to barely climb his way down.

Finding a place to store his torch without it falling off him, he began his further descent down as he carefully and slowly climbed down each small ledge until he could safely land below. Letting go, he braced his feet and landed below and pulled out his torch and looked about. Just then, he felt a heavy leaking presence and realized he was near as he heard a heavy hum sound that sounded like a resonator and in the far distance ahead of him, he saw a light green light blocked by the dark. Gasping a bit as he realized he found what he was looking for, he ran towards it and there in front of him, was indeed a circular green portal that looked like it was a gate to another world. That was when Max felt a strange feeling like the winds blowing from behind him and only began to notice it was pulling him in. Max put his torch down beside a rock whilst approaching the portal and inspected it "I finally found this at last...Was a bit easier to find then I thought!" his ears twitched as he heard the sound of running footsteps but before he could turn around to see who it was, he felt himself get pushed into the portal "H-Hey! Waugh!!!!"

Max felt himself zooming through the portal and his vision was a plentiful amount of rainbow colors and it soon began to turn white and then it faded to black. Meanwhile, in St.Canard, the rain poured lightly but the town remained dark as usual. In the middle of an empty part of the town, electric began to form and became quickly rapidly static and anyone who would be near would be blinded by the light. Once the light faded, there lay a unconscious fox in a green hoodie and camouflage jeans who was armed and clearly didn't look like he was from around St.Canard.



This is only the beginning to a new journey for Max...
