The original version of this song is epic, and so full of passion. When the music gets completely underway, all eight 2A03+VRC6 channels are thoroughly busy. 2A03's two pulses handle the two bass voices, VRC6's two pulses handle the two treble voices, the 2A03's DPCM channel (again) handles the timpani, the 2A03's noise channel handles the snare drum, and the 2A03's triangle wave channel and the VRC6's sawtooth channel together handle two accompaniment voices that I judged the least critical (but still necessary) to the song's detail. I wouldn't say this chiptune was hard to make, but it was hard to balance all the instrument volumes to make sure it sounded good enough to release. Even so, whether some instruments sound drowned out depends mainly on what program you play the chiptune in (FamiTracker, NotSo Fatso, nsfplay, etc.).
Sequenced in FamiTracker using the Konami VRC6 expansion chip.
