Well, WW5 isn't really in a celebratory mood. More like an introspective mood, while he figures out just how he managed to foul everything up so massively, and what he's going to do about it. Which is not much.

The Doe-Moot is probably aware of and approves of Anastasia's plans, and the Skirt-Chaser's grandson has never been their favorite. Wouldn't take too much to get them to haul out the torches and pitchforks.

There's a lot of solidarity amongst the sexes of the Vale. Not between them, note, but amongst. They look out for each other.
Though they must respect each other despite seeming evidence to the contrary...sort of...after a fashion, otherwise the Vale wouldn't survive.
But it definitely seems to do so reluctantly some days, from my observation.
