Of course the Eldest would find a love match to be suspicious activity. They made themselves miserable by picking boors for mates, why should anyone else get to be happy?
I can only imagine their sheer collective confusion and stomach-churning disbelief if they ever learned that Anastasia and Westersloe, for all their problems, actually love and respect each other. Or at least play at it. :P
The [Doe-Moot] could learn a few lessons from that pair, I think.
...Whether they'd be the right lessons, well, that's another issue entirely. XD
