Looks like ancient Persia, not stereotypical Persia, I love it, finally some historical accuracy for the Persian Empire.

Yeah, while it's anachronistic, the main 'motif' of the area he's from is basically a Meta-Persia. And it's more based off of ancient Persia, not Prince of Persia. So yeah - the images used for what the people (who're mostly gnolls/hyenas. ;) ) would be wearing and what some of the cities would look like are basically from Persian cities. There's also a bit of Central Asia and Mongolia in terms of how this motif is - which actually still does kinda fit the "Persian" bit since yeah, The Mongols conquered Khwarezmia, and the Achaemenid Empire (The FIRST Persian empire!) did in fact have territory in the central asian steppes. ;)

Just glad for some historical accuracy.
