At some point, anti-tank rifles reach the point where they cross the line into light artillery. One example is the Swiss 24mm Tankbusche 41. Here, we see that in the future, such weapons have only gotten bigger. Her 30mm anti-tank rifle is a mash-up of a Maxim machine-gun (the cooling jacket), the Panzerbüchse 39 (the side mounted ammunition case), and the PTRD-41 (the rear end of the weapon). The massive scope was based on the first generation U.S. Army "starlight" night vision optics. In this future version, the gunner has a weight canceling load bearing equipment so allow her to fire on the move rather than having to take up a static position in order to take a shot.
