Here's a side view of just how big goalie pants make your ass look. Even with stripes they are not very slimming. The stripes on the pads are actually pieces of ABS pipe velcroed to the edge of the pad, again as a wear item so the pads don't get ground down and ruined. The original pads were purple and silver - yuck! so I made some properly tigery slipcovers for them and beefed them up for street hockey use.
