I should have gone with a simpler background. The shading on the stomach looks way to flat, despite dedicating 6 layers to it alone.
Also it's my first time trying to draw fur or any kind, so my skills in that respect are pretty limited.

I like your shading technique there. It gives a very smooth, yet rigid, look. It helps pronounce the shape of his nose, as well.
On a second glance, I've noticed there seems to be this round shadow that continues on to his side face plates that doesn't look quite right.
I also noticed the interesting work on his tail plates, which looks very neat.
