I had a couple of friends who melted an Easter egg in a fondue kit, and while they thought it tasted great it made them quite sick for a little while!

Reminds me of the time we hosted a Swiss foreign exchange student. We made fondue with OUR Swiss cheese, and she takes one look at it and says in a VERY precise tone "That is NOT Swiss!" She took Mom to a special market that dealt in European foods and got us some REAL Swiss cheese. Good stuff!
