Another submission in my Dragoneer series (more to be released ;3)
When FA goes down to fix some bugs.. many belive that when they say bugs, they mean technical glitches in the system of course heh heh
BUT NO!
He's actually packing Smartguns, pulserifles a shotgun, and his own two claws and going to get FA's server back from a Xenomorph hive that lives 2 doors away from where Dragoneer lives.
And while the Xenomorph Alien acidic blood was tested against all metals, it was never tested against dragon skin. Which it does nothing against ^_^ So after diving head first into a cluster of aliens and fighting his way through a torrent of aliens and acid, he's lucky to have ANY scraps of armor on at all by the end of it ;3

ran out of both (Speaking of grenades- or Smartgun battery clip- same looking thing- they're actually a transforming grenade popgun from the 80s (holds his up)
I might draw him before he goes into the hive, where he's completely loaded with weaponry, smartgun harness, two Pulserifles (hip holsters) flamethrower (tail holster) A hollowed out alien tail tip attached to his own tail tip, a trophy-given Predator wristblade, and more ammo than the Heavy Arms Gundam =P

A great piccy as always, and a slightly interesting question comes to mind.. how hard is it would you say to make the right adjustments to objects like say guns to take in to account the different lesser fingered structure of some fursonnas? For example, widening the trigger hole.. thing (technical term) for slightly pudgy dragon fingers? :3
Actually, all I could find was that it's compairable to hydrochloric acid. And here's one that could eventually be broken down into the idea that his skin resists it- Why does it now burn the Aliens themselves while it's in their bodies, nor burn Ripley when she's the hybrid queen (I don't exactly like Alien 4, mostly because of it's lack of cornbread, but it's still evidence)
OR: Dragoneer's skin uses the same technology that prevented Froto from being crushed by a cave troll by a tiny sheet of CHAIN LINK Mithril - Or how superman's costume is as strong as he is =P

Their blood is Aqua Regia, its green because its most likely some sorta silicon based blood compound passing proteins and waste etc through it, being acedic that would be a perfect closed system of waste and their silicon/carbon based drool also passes out the excess of what they eat (when they rarely get stuff into their system). They also spit acid to break stuff down and are mostly naturual silicon producers by eating other xeonomorphs when they die, people, bones etc and taking in the calcium.
Their whole composure is actually silicon and their exoskeleton is calcium in its elemental state is a soft grey alkaline earth metal which of course we all know that Alkaline Earth Metals are immune to all forms of acid.

I'm sorry ;-;.. Yeah I like to study anatomies etc plus I write my own series, yeah I know cliche thingy but I am actually hard onto it and write a very intrequent verse, more so than 40k.. Comparible to the level of detail and depth of Battle Tech, explaining how things are made, work etc. THough I'll never claim to be as good as the author of "Falcon Rising".. I love that one.
oh I have plenty of refrences, but there was a typo on my part (embarrisingly enough, he said Smartgun and I read Shotgun >_< That's why I'm making the other image of him fully loaded.
But in a half-assed defense of the image, it shows more of a combatant that likes to get in all nice and close for the kills, and doesn't give a crap about the acid. The smartgun requires more of a wide shot to show the steadycam harness (I'm pushed for time now, or I would have drawn alot of destroyed equipment on him.
And speaking of the smartgun, I had mentioned about the Grenade and ammo clip thingie earlier- Here's the toy I have that I was talking about:

Ah the harry harris archive. You'd get the best references from the Aliens: Colonial Marine Technical Manual if you were deadly serious however ^_^
And you'd have drawn destroyed equipment eh? Well there are always small devices that can be shown semi-wrecked without much effort. Infa-red visor and shoulder lamp for example.
Anyway it's an awesome image reguardless. I'm one of the biggest Aliens fans around, so it's a treat to see stuff like this ^_^

Yeah.. Your best reference possibilitys for HH probably come from the AvP PC game maps. But they arent very reliable detail wise >_<
And I wouldn't have killed you for it :P Just because I love xenos doesn't mean I won't respect cool guys like you drawing fighting scenes with 'em

Damnit that looks freaking awesome! I'm SOOOO tempted to use this as a desktop background on my laptop when school starts up X3
Great job on everything, man. That's why I enjoy your art, even when the kinks of the yiffy ones fail: everything is so well drawn, both visually and anatomically.

Since that acid melts away metals... would it be too much to assume that he'll not only come back with no armor and no weapons (they're made of metal too), but wouldn't that melt his clothes too? With that being the case, I think all of his fans would be waiting for him to come back out of there, not just to have FA back up and running, but to see his body too. *murrs*
