One of the 14 elemental runes of Ceal.
The Kyera Rune represents the element most frequently associated with wind. Kyera can be associated with air, volatility, speed and lightness.
The Kyera Rune consists of an equilateral triangle pointing downwards inscribed with a second equlateral triangle pointing upwards, subdividing the larger triangle into four congurent smaller triangles. Three small circles touch the larger triangle at the point where the smaller triangle intersects with it. All angles within this rune are 60°. This rune has three axes of symmetry, and a rotational symmetry of 120°.
Kyera is a very controverse element. It is easy to invoke, but hard to control, slipping away as easily as it came. Also, actually putting Kyera to use can be quite tricky due to its volatile nature. In essence, this element is one that can be used easily in undirected play, but requires a good degree of mastery before one can accomplish anything with it.
Once mastered, however, there are all sorts of amazing things that can be done with Kyera, such as breathing underwater, assisting in flight, or even levitating. Masters of Kyera can even use it to affect the weather to some degree.
