Well, ‘All is well in order’ is what you thought you heard them say
and so you drifted off to see what’s not in yourself
Light is turning slowly will it lay out on the plains?
No more nights of what you wrote back then

I love the detail and thought that has gone into this piece.
The way the light and the shadow falls, the way the texture of the rocks as an inorganic vary against the the organic lycoan.
The two things that really grab me are the little dust specks that are kicked up and the intense gaze. While the dust really shows your care and attention to detail, it brings a certain life to the artwork, a wonderful element of realism, like a snapshot out of a documentary.
In an interesting parallel, the eyes are extremely expressive and bring a similar spirit to the painting. The brush strokes, your vector of bringing this artwork into being, are less pronounced here. Whether intentional or not, the effect on me is that in this area your piece almost breaks free from both the canvas(or screen) and the your own control as an artist.
