Angry buff-beah is fuckin' buff and fuckin' angry.
Just a quicky - Needed a break from a bigger piece I've been working on. And yes, someone's been playing Diablo II. <3
Dunno why he's so ticked off. Might be related to him being on fire, though... :B

Glad to hear it was recognizable in style and content, to any extent. I might do more DII inspired stuff.
I'm rather excited about the new Diablo, myself. Let's hope it won't be too long until it's finally released. I think it looks great, despite the complaints by some fans about its art style. I'm more concerned about whether or not it will run on my PC, but I guess I won't know for sure until they release at least a demo version. :/

I dunno... Dante made out fine in DMC with the fiery gloves despite the sheer pain they put him in, I assume because they were just so badass and motherfuckin' enough that it totally made the pain worth it. PLUS, Teddy Ruxpin here's got fiery eyes AND breath added into the deal, so it's a super sweet deal!
If anything, I assume he's angry because those park tourists aren't surrendering their pic-a-nic basket nearly fast enough.
Unquestionably awesome, from the fur to the lighting to the dark n' spooky forest behind him. (Although those must be SOME veins to be able to bulge out from underneath thick fur like that) Love the burly body type on this mofo' as well. Befitting, as most bears do look like...
... oh my god, I JUST got that.

Hah hah - I'm only at the beginning of Act II. I completely missed out on the original Diablo craze, back in the day, and only recently picked the game up. Always been more of a console gamer. Got pretty excited about the news of a new Diablo game, though. But since no one really seems to know when that will be released, I figured I might as well play DII in the meantime. 's pretty fun so far. :3
I bought it as soon as when they released the "Lords Of Destruction" expansion. I had just recently moved into a new appartment with two art school mates who already owned the game, so the first thing we did as roommates was spending the whole weekend from Friday afternoon to Monday morning playing the game, just stopping occasionally for bathroom breaks, ordering pizzas, feeding the cat and taking naps. I think that I adquired the first 50 or so levels for my druid on that weekend. Good times. <3 <3 <3
Also, I'm really excited about Diablo III, too. After playing Diablo II for 6-7 years already, I'm dying for some new content. x3

As I've mentioned in some of the above replies, I only recently started playing it, myself. I was always more of a game console kid, not a PC gamer. It's only been in recent years that I started picking up some PC "Classics" I missed out on. ( Partly because by computer wouldn't be capable of running recent PC games anyway. Also, most of those old games sell for only a few bucks these days - So that's a bonus. XD ) But to get back to Diablo II - If you have the spare time and dig that kind of game, I'm sure it's worth picking it up. ( In fact, judging from the content of most of your art, you'd probably really enjoy the character/ creature designs and overall setting of the game. )
And yeah, I'm still trying to get the hang of painting without any kind of line-work. I think it has its advantages - The overall work-flow seems a lot more fluent and flexible. It's kind of tricky getting used to it, but by now I think I actually enjoy it more than working with lines - Might just be a personal preference though... :P

Same here, I started out with consoles too. Hell, my current computer is still my first. 5+ years and still going strong but...becoming obsolete. I will definitely pick it up someday, I know my computer can handle that, lol.
I'm sure once you get the hang of painting that way, you can do those bad ass speedpaints I see a lot at CA.org. If anything, like you said, it can improve work-flow and your overall speed.

Scary powerful awesome bear. The detail of the fur flowing from the center of the bear's pecs to his arms and over his collar blades is awesome. The long huge claws and fire are very fiercesome, like something or someone pissed him off badly that he is going to magically roast them in a fireball.
